Our only office is here in Bayonne, New Jersey.  Dr. Gleaner has been a practicing Dentist here since 1987 when he practiced in a small office on Broadway (above the old Abramson's Jewelers) for a few years prior to moving to his present location.  Dr. Gleaner reaches out to the community with many activities throughout the year, including many school visits to educate children about the importance of taking care of their teeth.

Who We Are

DR. P. DAVID GLEANER is a graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University Dental School, completed a residency at Kings County Hospital Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY, and is an active member in the American Dental Association, the New Jersey Dental Association, the Hudson County Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Gleaner has been involved in many volunteer opportunities, including those with the Special Olympics, "Give Kids a Smile" Day, (Dr. Gleaner "in action"), "Children's Dental Health Day" at Liberty Science Center, and his favorite, the Trudi Birger Children's Dental Clinic in Jerusalem. He also takes the opportunity to go to elementary schools throughout Bayonne to teach lessons on children's dental health, as well as attending health and job fairs in schools to promote dentistry as a career. When not working, Dr. Gleaner enjoys spending time with his wife, three children (who don't brush enough) and a wildly rambunctious dog.

DANA, is our dental hygienist.  Dana was born and raised here in NJ and started working as a dental assistant soon after high school.  She continued her career in dentistry by completing the dental hygiene program at Bergen Community College, where she excelled as a member of the dean's list. She is especially great at educating our patients about taking care of their teeth, and gets many compliments about her gentle technique. When not busy here, she enjoys spending time with her children, especially on hiking and nature outings. Come by and let Dana show you how you can keep your teeth healthy for a lifetime!

SHIRLEY is the pleasant voice you will hear when you first call us. She brings to us her fantastic skills as a dental receptionist and insurance and financial coordinator.  She has much experience in this area and can work with our patients to maximize your insurance benefits, as well as work out affordable payment options to help you keep your teeth healthy. We know insurance benefits can be confusing and Shirley understands it better than anyone. For those who don't have insurance, she can explain great interest free payment options. She can also explain everything in Spanish, as well! When not helping us, Shirley enjoys time spent with her husband and son.

LAURA is our chairside dental assistant. She is quite talented at making your treatment perfectly comfortable, while making sure Dr. Gleaner has everything he needs to make your treatment go as quickly and painlessly as possible. Laura is quite busy, as she is still going to school to become a dental hygienist. We hope you will soon be seeing her to have your teeth cleaned, after she graduates!
